About Carmel PorchFest

Carmel PorchFest is a family-friendly event that is free and open to the public. The 2016 Carmel PorchFest will take place on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 1-5:30 PM in the Arts District. Featured will be a variety of musical acts ranging from acoustic to electric, solo to ensemble from a wide variety of musical genres that will perform live on neighborhood porches. All participants, including bands, homeowners and organizers, are comprised of community members from the Carmel, Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Mark your calendars for this one-of-a-kind event!

2016 PorchFest Now Taking Artist Submissions!

It’s that time again – time to plan PorchFest 2016!  Registration is now OPEN for artists to submit for this year’s fun-filled community event.  Visit the Artist Submission Page to get your info in now.  Registrations close May 31, 2016!

2015 Carmel PorchFest Registrations Now Open!

You heard right, music lovers!  This year’s Carmel PorchFest, sponsored by Huntington Bank, will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2015, and registration for musicians and porches is now open! Registrations will remain open through May 20, 2015.  Be sure to submit your application early – this year promises to be even bigger than last year, and musicians will be carefully selected by our Music Committee based on quality of submissions of each artist/act.  Musicians will be paid $50/member up to $200 per band. Calling All Musicians!


If you are a local musical group, singer, band, artist or entertainer, we may have a porch for you! PorchFest Musician registration is now open! Calling All Porches!


Carmel’s first PorchFest will be held on 1st Ave NW and 2nd Ave NW (Monon Trail to Rangeline Road) along with 1st through 8th Streets NW. No porch is too small! We welcome all residents in this area to submit an application for your home to be considered for use as a stage for our musicians. A visitor fortunate enough to cross the city limits and enter Carmel on Sept. 14 next year will have the good fortune of sharing a new experience. Our city will feel and act differently on that day.
